Are we alone in the universe? It’s one of humanity’s oldest questions – but the answer might be more surprising than you’d expect. Join us on Saturday, August 22nd as Prof. Jan Cami takes us on a journey through space, time, and connection in his talk “We Are (Not) Alone.” Discover how the carbon in your cells, the iron in your blood, and the calcium in your bones were all forged in the hearts of dying stars – and what that means for our place in the cosmos. 🌌

The evening kicks off with a talk in the classroom, followed by a tour of the Observatory and hands-on astronomy demos. Skies permitting, our telescopes will be ready for observing – a perfect chance to explore the night sky on a warm summer evening. 🔭
